Open beta for rfpoa ended a couple days ago. They've gone live with ep 2. Just make a copy of your codemasters folder then install the patch from here http://www.rfpoa.com/Forum/showthread.php?t=6384
Gold converts to cash shop credits and excelsior pieces sell for 20 gold each with a 10x droprate. They've taken the upgraders out of the cash shop for now.
