For Photoshop.

In this tutorial I'll tell you how to make
This:

This:

and This:

1st One
1. Create a new document (I used 240x30) and brush it and make the colors look cool.
2. Add some text.
3. Open the animation window (Window->Animation).
4. Now duplicate the frame selected.
5. On the second freme, change the text opacity to 0.
6. Now duplicate the first frame again and move it behind the 2nd layer OR duplicate the second frame and change the opacity to 100.
7. Now select the 2nd frame and the first frame (Hold shift and click on both).
8. Now click the tween button (4 circles linked, beside the duplicate frame). Now tween it by a number. I used 20.
9. Now you should have 20 more frames, go to the last two and select them both.
10. Tween them with the same amount of frames.
11. Delete the last frame.
12. Press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S
13. Now at the top it should say Original, Optimized, 2-Up and 4-Up. Press Optimized.
Now save it.

2nd One
1. Repeat steps 1-3 in the 1st one.
2. Duplicate the frame 27 times (thats how many times I duplicated it).
3. Now select the middle 4 layers. Now select the text in the layer window (F7) and right click on it and select blending options. Then click on Bevel and Emboss.
4. Now click OK.
5. Repeat steps 12-13 in 1st One.

3rd One.
1. Repeat steps 1-3.
2. Now select the text in the layer window (F7) and right click on it and select blending options.
3. Now right click Outer Glow.
4. Now select a color you want by clicking on the color box. Now select a color.
5. Now put Spread to 100%, Size to 51 pixel, and opacity to 0%.
6. Click ok and duplicate the frame in the Animation window.
7. Now on the 2nd frame, select the text layer in the layer window, right click on it and select Blending Options.
8. Right click Outer Glow.
9. Change the opacity to 100% and press OK.
10. Now tween the two frames and select as many layers as you want (1 = sloppiest and fastest, infinite = slowest and smoothest). My suggestion is tween it at most 100 times, or else it will go way out of the image hosting size.
11. Repeat steps 12-13 in 1st One.
